This part is straightforward enough. Hog out all the wood I can with a forstner drill, and finish the cavities with templates and routers.
OK, had to throw in a couple glamour shots with some naphtha on the top to remind you how bad-ass this top is 🙂
I use a template and center punch to locate where the holes go for bolting on the neck.
Smaller holes are drilled in the heel of the neck for accept the neck mounting screws.
