First things first. Templates.

I designed this guitar myself in CAD, and then sent the plans to a business I’ve used in the past to make templates for me. Prices are good, customer service is second to none, and the resulting templates are perfect.

I have them CNC cut by Chris Westhoff at LR Design+Build in Columbus OH

Next up we have the wood!

This is pretty much what you would expect for a guitar whose niche was defined by the Gibson Les Paul.

Genuine mahogany for the bodies and necks

Maple for the tops.

Also shown here is a piece of macassar ebony and a piece of Gabon ebony respectively, for the fingerboards.

A closer look at one of the tops just because….well…wow! This thing is going to look pretty sick 🙂

Seymour Duncan Pickups

Hipshot Tuning machines

Tonepros Bridges and tailpieces

LMII Truss rods

Carbon fiber rods

Switchcraft 3-way toggles

BTS and Bournes Pots

Orange drop capacitors

Unbleached bone nut blanks

Output jacks and jack plates

Strap buttons

fingerboard inlays,

truss rod cover logo inlays,

last but not least…knobs!
